Our school warmly welcomes Romanian children from Nottingham and the surrounding areas, aged between 3 and 15, offering them a place where they can discover the beauty of their roots. Here we carry out catechism activities, Romanian language lessons, Romanian history and geography, as well as outdoor games and summer camps that bring children joy, friendship, and a spirit of teamwork.
Through every activity, we aim to show them how beautiful Romania is, to bring them closer to the traditions and customs of their ancestors, and to awaken in them a love for Romanian culture and values. At the same time, the school is a place where children from our community build lasting friendships, grow together, and learn to be proud of their heritage.
The mission of the “Saint Andrei Șaguna” Romanian School is to be a bridge between generations and between the homeland and the place we live today, so that every child may feel that they carry Romania in their heart, wherever they may be.
